Glaze from powdered milk and icing sugar for cake

If you are not very fond of sweet icing for cakes, then pay attention to this recipe. Just three ingredients - milk powder, icing sugar and water, easy preparation technology and a wonderful cream-colored frosting that tastes like white chocolate is ready.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
For the glaze, purchase whole milk powder with a fat content of 25%.
step 2 out of 5
In a deep bowl, combine the milk powder and the icing sugar. Start adding water a little at a time, it must be warm. Otherwise, there is a high probability that lumps form. You don't need to whip the frosting, just stir it with a spatula. When the consistency of the glaze looks like thick sour cream, stop adding water.
step 3 out of 5
Decorate the cakes immediately with icing, otherwise it will harden. It is convenient to decorate small Easter cakes by completely dipping the top.
step 4 out of 5
On large cakes, glaze can be applied with a spoon or spatula and spread evenly. Make glaze drips if desired.
step 5 out of 5
The finished fondant turns out to be creamy with a beautiful pearlescent sheen. Lay out all additional decor over the glaze immediately, before it has time to cool. If desired, you can use nuts, dried fruits, candied fruits or various sprinkles for this.
Bon Appetit!
