Whole pink salmon on the grill

Cooking juicy pink salmon on the grill is not difficult. We clean the carcass, sprinkle with salt and spices, stuff with onions and send it to the grill. We will fry on smoldering coals until golden brown. Inside, the fish will remain juicy and tender.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
We peel off the scales from the pink salmon. Remove the insides. Cut off the head, tail and fins. Rinse the prepared carcass thoroughly with running water and dry it with paper towels. We make shallow parallel cuts on both sides of the fish. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper, rub with your hands.
step 2 out of 5
Sprinkle with dried oregano, pour over with vegetable oil. We distribute all this over the outer surface and inner cavity of pink salmon. Peel, rinse and dry onions. Cut into thin slices. Place the onion inside the fish.
step 3 out of 5
We prepare a grill with embers. We place the prepared pink salmon on a grid greased with vegetable oil and send it to the barbecue.
step 4 out of 5
We bake the fish for about ten minutes on each side. The surface should be covered with a light golden crust, but it is important not to dry the pulp.
step 5 out of 5
Transfer the finished fish from the wire rack to a plate. Serve hot with fresh herbs, vegetables, lemon.
Bon Appetit!
