Fillet of pink salmon with potatoes in the oven

If you need to cook a hearty pink salmon dish, you should combine it with potatoes. For juiciness, add water when baking and mayonnaise when pickling, do not forget about aromatic herbs. It is important to cut the potatoes as thin as possible so that the potato slices do not remain firm by the time the fish is ready.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Rinse portions of pink salmon and dry with a paper towel.
step 2 out of 5
To prepare the marinade in a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise with paprika, black pepper, parsley (1 tsp), basil and salt. We coat each piece of pink salmon with the resulting mixture and leave to marinate while we prepare the potatoes.
step 3 out of 5
Peel the potatoes, rinse and dry. Cut each potato into even thin slices. Place the potato slices in a bowl, pour over them with vegetable oil (3 tablespoons), sprinkle with the remaining dried parsley and salt. Mix with your hands to distribute the spices evenly over all the slices. Grease the baking dish with vegetable oil and put the prepared potatoes in it. Distribute in a relatively even layer.
step 4 out of 5
On top of the stacked potato slices, put portioned pieces of pink salmon in the marinade. Add water to the mold and cover it with foil. Bend the edges and press them against the sides of the form.
step 5 out of 5
Preheat the oven to a temperature of 200 degrees. We put the dish in the hot oven on the lower level. We bake for twenty minutes. Then we remove the foil and bake the pink salmon with potatoes for another ten minutes in the open form. We take the finished dish out of the oven and put it on portioned plates. If you wish, you can sprinkle the fish and potatoes with finely chopped dill.

Bon Appetit!
