Pink salmon in sour cream with vegetables

Pink salmon is a representative of the salmon family with a high protein content. Pink salmon meat is rather dry, therefore, before baking, it is marinated or baked with vegetables and sauce. This is the recipe I want to propose. Pink salmon in sour cream sauce with vegetables turns out juicy and tender.

Wash the carrots thoroughly, peel with a vegetable peeler. Grate the peeled carrots on a fine grater.

Peel the garlic and chop: grate on a fine grater or pass through a press. Place in a small bowl and set aside.

Peel the onions and chop finely.

Heat the pan well, add a little vegetable oil, add chopped onion and fry until golden, stirring occasionally.

Put the carrots, grated on a fine grater, into a frying pan to the fried onions. Cook, stirring constantly for a few minutes.

Then add the previously minced garlic. Stir thoroughly, heat for literally a minute and immediately remove from heat.

Take a pink salmon carcass, if necessary, defrost it. Peel off entrails and fins. Rinse thoroughly under running water and pat dry with paper towels. Slice the pink salmon lengthwise. Separate the fillets from the bones.

Grease a baking dish with a little vegetable oil. Cut the prepared pink salmon fillet into portioned pieces, put in a mold.

Season the pink salmon with black pepper and salt. You can use dry herbs if desired.

Arrange the fried vegetables in an even layer on top.

Put the sour cream in a small bowl and add the required amount of drinking water to it. Mix thoroughly.

Pour pink salmon fillet with vegetables with the resulting sauce.

Place a baking dish in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and cook for 30 minutes. Grate hard cheese on a fine grater. After the time has elapsed, sprinkle the dish with grated cheese and bake the pink salmon for another 5 minutes.

Place the baked fish on a serving platter. Serve the pink salmon in portions with fresh vegetable salad and potatoes.
