Pink salmon baked in the oven in foil

A whole fish carcass, cooked in the oven in foil, retains its useful properties and is baked in its own juice, so it can be safely classified as a healthy diet. To make the pink salmon juicy and soft, use chilled fish (not frozen) and do not exceed the baking period in the oven so that the fish does not dry out.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 11
Scale the fish and remove the entrails if necessary. Rinse the carcass thoroughly.
step 2 out of 11
Lubricate the inside and outside of the fish with vegetable oil with your hands or with a brush.
step 3 out of 11
Combine salt and pepper, stir and rub the fish with the mixture. Squeeze some lemon juice onto the pink salmon and let it soak in the seasoning for 15 minutes.
step 4 out of 11
Place 2 layers of foil on a baking sheet. Cut off 4-5 thin slices of lemon. Place them on foil as a fish base.
step 5 out of 11
Put the pink salmon carcass on the lemon.
step 6 out of 11
Peel and chop the onion in half rings. Slice 3 more lemon rings and halve them. Rinse the greens, shake off excess moisture and chop coarsely.
step 7 out of 11
Lay the fish in the belly, alternating layers of lemon slices, herbs and onions.
step 8 out of 11
Wrap the fish tightly with foil, holding the edges together at the top.
step 9 out of 11
Place the fish in a hot oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
step 10 out of 11
Remove the baking sheet, unfold the foil and return to the broiler for another 15 minutes.
step 11 out of 11
Remove the finished fish from the oven and carefully transfer to a beautiful dish. Garnish with herbs and lemon slices.

Bon Appetit!
