Pea porridge in a glass of peas, how much water

It is with great pleasure that I want to share an excellent recipe for incredibly delicious pea porridge. The garnish turns out to be fragrant and with a rich, beautiful color. Pea porridge can be served as an independent dish or supplemented with meat products.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 8
Measure out the required amount of dry split peas. I used green. But it doesn't matter.
step 2 out of 8
Wash the carrots well and peel them with a vegetable peeler. Grate the peeled carrots on a coarse grater. Peel the onions, rinse in cool water and cut into cubes. Place the prepared vegetables at the bottom of the multicooker.
step 3 out of 8
Set the "Fry" program on the appliance panel, the cooking time is 10 minutes. Stir occasionally with a silicone spatula and fry the vegetables until soft.
step 4 out of 8
Put the prepared peas in a fine sieve and rinse thoroughly under cold running water several times. Leave for a while to allow excess water to glass.
step 5 out of 8
Put the washed peas in a multicooker bowl with fried vegetables.
step 6 out of 8
Pour in the required amount of drinking water at room temperature. Close the lid of the multicooker. Set the Stew program on the appliance panel, the cooking time is 50 minutes.
step 7 out of 8
After the time has elapsed, open the lid of the multicooker, add salt, mash the pea porridge in mashed potatoes with a crush or blender until smooth. Close the instrument cover. Set the "Heating" mode and leave the porridge for another 10 minutes.
step 8 out of 8
Arrange the bright, aromatic pea porridge on portioned plates and serve on the dining table.

Bon Appetit!
