If you love peas, this porridge might be one of the favorites. Everything in it is perfect: soft boiled peas, tender pork that breaks down into fibers, juicy delicate texture, delicious aroma. It is better to take meat fatter - peas "love" it. You can also add some smoked meats for extra flavor. It is best to serve such porridge hot or warm, accompanied by vegetable salad and herbs.
Ingredients
Cooking process
In general, any peas are suitable for such porridge - crushed, whole, not only chopped. If you are using a whole one, then we recommend soaking it for a few hours before cooking - this will cook it much faster. Crushed and chopped can be used immediately without soaking - the cooking time is not as long as that of the whole. Place the peas in a colander and rinse well under running water. Rinse until the water flows completely clean and stops foaming. This is important because it is the well-washed raw material that is cooked without foam and gives a clean, soft puree.
Dry the pork with a paper towel and cut into small pieces. Pour a small amount of vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl so that it covers the bottom with a thin layer. We select the "Fry" program and heat the oil. We spread the pieces of meat and fry it with occasional stirring, until the pieces are completely lighter and begin to brown slightly. This will take seven to ten minutes.
Peel the onions, wash, dry and cut into small pieces. We clean the carrots from the upper skin, wash, dry and rub on a coarse grater. Pour chopped onions with carrots into a bowl to the fried meat, mix and continue to fry until the end of the program - ten to fifteen minutes. Stir occasionally to avoid uneven browning. At the end, sprinkle the mixture with black ground pepper.
Bon Appetit!
