Pea porridge in a Redmond slow cooker with soaking peas

Today I want to share a recipe for a great multicooker pea porridge. This porridge can be prepared for lunch or dinner. The fragrant porridge can be served as an independent dish during Lent, as well as supplemented with meat for those who like it more satisfying.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Rinse dry split peas well, then put them in a deep container and cover with cold water. Add baking soda. Leave to soak for a few hours. If you have time, leave it overnight. So the peas will cook faster and there will be no flatulence.
step 2 out of 5
Pour the required amount of vegetable oil at the bottom of the multicooker.
step 3 out of 5
Then lay out the peas that have been presoaked and washed again, add salt to taste.
step 4 out of 5
Pour in the required amount of drinking water. Close the lid of the multicooker. Set the Stew program on the appliance panel, the cooking time is 50 minutes. Click the "Start" button.
step 5 out of 5
After the beep, set the "Heating" mode and leave the porridge for 10 minutes. Serve hot pea porridge in portions, garnish with pre-washed and chopped green onions.

Bon Appetit!
