Pea puree with minced meat in a slow cooker

A simple version of a hearty pea dish. We propose to cook it in a multicooker, since peas do not burn in a bowl, do not require constant attention and always turns out to be successful. First, we will make frying from onions and carrots, then add minced meat and spices. Lastly, put the peas and pour in the water. We simmer the dish for one and a half to two hours. The puree turns out to be very soft, boiling, aromatic and rich.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 8
Pour a small amount of vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl so that it covers the bottom with a thin layer. We select the "Fry" program and heat the oil.
step 2 out of 8
Peel the onions, wash, dry and cut into small pieces.
step 3 out of 8
We clean the carrots from the upper skin, wash, dry and rub on a coarse grater.
step 4 out of 8
Put chopped onions and carrots in a bowl and fry them with occasional stirring until soft. Approximately seven to ten minutes.
step 5 out of 8
Put the minced meat to the fried vegetables. It can be any - chicken, pork, beef, mixed. It is advisable that the minced meat is not too small - such minced meat will simply dissolve in the finished puree. Break the minced meat with a spatula, mix with vegetables and fry until lightly browned. At the end of frying, add salt, black pepper and a mixture of spices for meat. We mix.
step 6 out of 8
Place the peas in a colander and rinse well under a stream of cool running water. You need to wash until the water runs off completely clean and stops foaming.
step 7 out of 8
After washing, transfer the peas to the multicooker bowl on top of the frying with minced meat. Fill with the specified amount of hot water. We close the multicooker with a lid and turn on the "Quenching" mode for one hour and thirty minutes.
step 8 out of 8
When the program time is over, turn off the multicooker, open the lid. Stir the contents of the bowl with a spatula - form the puree. Let the mashed potatoes with minced meat stand in an open multicooker for another ten to fifteen minutes. The puree will cool slightly and thicken a little. We lay out the ready-made on portioned plates. The surface can be garnished with fresh chopped herbs. Serve hot or warm puree.
Bon Appetit!
