Pea puree is an undeservedly forgotten dish. It is easy to prepare, useful in composition and, moreover, very budgetary. Few people like mono-pea puree in water, so for a more multifaceted and rich taste we add vegetables, spices and, in this case, stew. This is an express version of a meat supplement if there is no time for a long, full stewing. The stew is just enough to warm up well in pea puree. As for the peas, you can soak them in advance for several hours so that they cook faster and become soft.

Pour the peas into a sieve and rinse well under running cold water. We rinse it until the water stops foaming and flows out completely clean. It is very important to thoroughly rinse the peas - then the puree will turn out clean and without scale. Place the washed peas in a bowl, fill with cold water and leave to soak for five to seven hours. Convenient to leave overnight.

By the time the mashed potatoes are prepared, peel the carrots from the upper skin, rinse, dry and cut into thin slices. Alternatively, cut into strips.

After soaking, rinse the peas again with water, placing them in a sieve. Then we put it in a dry multicooker bowl. Pour chopped carrots on top. We put the bay leaf.

Pour in hot water in the specified amount. The liquid should completely cover the peas and carrots. We close the multicooker with a lid and turn on the "Quenching" mode for fifty minutes.

When the time of the given program is over, open the multicooker, put a piece of butter in the bowl. Add salt and black pepper to taste. We set the "Extinguishing" mode again, this time for ten minutes. Close the lid and continue cooking.

After the specified time has elapsed, open the lid and stir the peas with a spatula so that mashed potatoes are formed - the peas are soft and easily breaks down into small pieces. We open the stew, remove excess fat and put the meat in a bowl on hot mashed potatoes. Stir, close the lid and leave for ten minutes in the "Heating" mode. During this time, the stew will warm up and saturate the peas with meat juice.

We lay out the pea puree along with the stew into portioned plates. We wash the green onions, dry them and chop finely with a knife. Sprinkle the surface of the puree with herbs and serve it hot.
