Pea puree with soaking peas in a saucepan

Every housewife knows that so that the peas are well boiled, they must first be soaked, preferably overnight. Pea puree is not the fastest dish, but incredibly tasty and satisfying, it goes well with any type of meat.

Sort the peas and rinse 2-3 times with running water. Then soak the peas for 6-8 hours

Rinse swollen peas, cover with water and cook. 10-15 minutes after boiling, add baking soda, reduce heat and wait until boiling again. Then drain the hot water and add fresh water.
