I want to share an interesting, in my opinion, recipe for pea soup. The texture of the first course is thick and rich. Absolutely everyone will like this hearty and appetizing soup. Cook and you will have tons of fun.

Rinse the split peas thoroughly several times under running water, and then place in a deep container. Soak in baking soda solution and let sit overnight. This will make it cook faster. Then rinse, put in a saucepan and cover with water. Put on fire and cook for about 1 hour.

Peel the onions and cut into cubes. Place in a well-heated skillet, greased with vegetable oil. Stir occasionally, fry until soft. Wash and peel the carrots using a vegetable peeler. Then grate on a coarse grater, send to the fried onions and fry until soft.

Wash the potatoes and peel them with a vegetable peeler. Cut the peeled potatoes into strips and send to the peas. Bring to a boil. Salt. Reduce heat and simmer for 30-40 minutes.
