Today I want to share a delicious recipe for an incredibly delicious rich pea soup with chicken broth. This soup can be prepared in order to satisfyingly feed a large family. The rich pea soup will be your favorite.

Wash the chicken first. Place in a deep heavy-bottomed saucepan. Pour in cold water and salt. Put on moderate heat and bring to a boil. Remove the resulting foam using a slotted spoon. Then reduce heat and cook, covered, for about 30 minutes.

Rinse the peas thoroughly several times under running water, and then put in the hot broth. If desired, you can soak the peas in a baking soda solution. This will make it cook faster.

Wash the potatoes and peel them with a vegetable peeler. Cut the peeled potatoes into cubes. Send to soup. Bring to a boil. Salt if necessary. Reduce heat and simmer for 40-50 minutes.

Peel the onions and cut them into small cubes. Wash and peel the carrots using a vegetable peeler. Then grate on a coarse grater. Wash tomatoes and bell peppers, peel and chop finely. Send the prepared vegetables to the pan.
