When there is no time, and even the desire to cook meat soup, according to this recipe you can quickly cook pea soup with a slice of smoked sausage. Take the sausage that you prefer, but not dry varieties, so that the soup cooks faster. The dish will turn out to be a fragrant, tasty and budget option, just soak the peas in advance for a few hours.

Since the soup is cooked quickly, soak the peas for it overnight or for several hours in cold water. Rinse the soaked peas several times, transfer to a small saucepan (3 liters), cover with water and cook over medium heat. For pre-soaked peas, one hour is sufficient for cooking. You can remove or leave the foam with a slotted spoon.
20 minutes before the end of cooking the peas, transfer the chopped potatoes, sausage and fried vegetables to it in a saucepan. Then, by the end of cooking, add salt to the soup to your liking, sprinkle with black pepper and put a laurel leaf. Let the cooked soup steep for 10 minutes and then remove the sample.
