Greek salad without pepper

Bulgarian pepper is always present in a traditional Greek salad. I suggest making an equally delicious Greek salad without pepper. The salad turns out to be unusual and due to the fried almonds and olives it acquires an original taste. Be sure to prepare such a salad, and you will definitely not regret it.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 11
Prepare the required ingredients for the Greek salad.
step 2 out of 11
Wash and dry the cucumber well. With a fork, slide along the skin of the cucumber, as if cutting, so that it is better saturated in the dressing.
step 3 out of 11
Cut the prepared cucumber into thin slices using a grater or vegetable peeler. Place in a prepared salad bowl.
step 4 out of 11
Peel the red onion and cut into thin rings or half rings in the same way as for cucumbers. Transfer to a salad bowl.
step 5 out of 11
Rinse your favorite greens thoroughly under running water and dry (I have mint and cilantro greens). Chop finely with a sharp knife and send to the salad bowl with the rest of the ingredients. Wash the lemon well, cut it in half and squeeze out the juice using a special device. Add to a salad bowl and season with salt. Leave to marinate for a few minutes.
step 6 out of 11
Heat the pan well, add olive oil, almonds and olives, fry for a few minutes. Add oregano, stir well and remove from heat.
step 7 out of 11
Rinse and dry the lettuce leaves thoroughly. Place on the serving platter.
step 8 out of 11
Wash and dry the cherry tomatoes, cut in half and place on lettuce leaves.
step 9 out of 11
Arrange the pickled cucumbers with onions and herbs.
step 10 out of 11
Top with toasted almonds and olives.
step 11 out of 11
Crumble the feta cheese with your hands and distribute evenly over the salad.

Bon Appetit!
