Greek salad offers quite a lot of room for imagination. Each housewife has her own recipe for such a salad, developed by experience and taste preferences. The main thing is to cut the ingredients into the "right" cubes and add the "right" dressing. We offer a combination of vegetables from the chef and a special sauce that will transform a recognizable salad into something special.

Cooking process
Preparing the ingredients for the Greek salad. To do this, wash and dry the cucumber. Cut off the ends to avoid bitterness and cut the vegetable into slices one centimeter thick. Then we cut the circles into four parts. We wash and dry the tomatoes, cut out the trace from the stalk. Cut the tomatoes into one centimeter cubes. Peel and cut onions into thin transparent semicircles. We wash the salad, dry it and tear it with our hands into pieces with sides of three to four centimeters. Cut the olives into two parts each. Lightly dry the feta cheese and cut into thin slices with sides of two to three centimeters.
Onions must be pickled before adding to the salad. This will add juiciness, piquancy to it and will allow you to create a special accent in the overall bouquet of the salad. Place the chopped onion in a small bowl and fill it with lemon juice. Leave to marinate for ten minutes. Then drain the juice.
Put lettuce leaves, tomato cubes, cucumber quarters, olives halves in a large salad bowl. To prepare the dressing, put balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, a clove of garlic, dried oregano and salt in a blender bowl. Add black pepper, a piece of feta, yoghurt and pour in olive oil. Using a blender at high speed, punch through all the ingredients until a thick, whitish sauce is obtained. The amount of sauce obtained is enough to make several salads. With the resulting dressing (4-5 tablespoons) pour the components in a salad bowl, gently mix everything with two forks or just with your hands.
Bon Appetit!
