The most delicious mushroom hodgepodge is a hodgepodge with honey agarics. They are successfully combined with vegetables, are easy to prepare and give the dish a special taste. Cooking hodgepodge without vinegar has its own peculiarities, but in general, the preparation is no different from the usual one. Solyanka without vinegar is less acidic than the classic one, more tender and aromatic.

Peel and rinse the onions and carrots in running water. Then grate the carrots on a medium grater and finely chop the onion.

Saute the onions and carrots until soft in a thick-bottomed bowl, then add the chopped cabbage and simmer for about half an hour over moderate heat, covered. Next, add honey mushrooms and continue to simmer.

While the vegetables are stewing, rinse and finely chop the tomatoes. Add them to a container with a hodgepodge and simmer until tender. About five to seven minutes before the dish is ready, add salt with spices and mix well.

Put the finished hodgepodge with mushrooms in sterile jars, and then pasteurize the workpiece in a saucepan of water for twenty-five minutes (for liter jars). Immediately roll up the pasteurized workpiece and cool it under a fur coat for 24 hours, then put it in a dark place for storage.
