The pear is rich in various useful substances and is hypoallergenic, so its preparation without sugar is great for both baby and diet food. This aromatic and delicate jam will complement homemade cakes and desserts. For this dessert, choose sweet, juicy pears with firm flesh.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
Wash the pears well under running water and wipe them dry with a napkin. Then we cut them into halves, remove the seed boxes and cut the pear into small pieces. Put the chopped pear into a bowl for making jam. So that the pear does not darken, sprinkle it with lemon juice.
step 2 out of 7
Add pure water to the pears. Bring the pear to a boil and cook over low heat and covered for 30 minutes.
step 3 out of 7
Grind the boiled pear in mashed potatoes using a submersible blender or grind on a sieve.
step 4 out of 7
Pour the calculated amount of citric acid into the resulting puree, mix and cook over low heat for another 2-3 minutes. Lemon is a natural preservative here.
step 5 out of 7
We put the cooked pear jam in pre-sterilized jars of any volume.
step 6 out of 7
We sterilize pear jam without sugar according to the general rules of sterilization. The sterilization time depends on the volume of the cans: 15 minutes is enough for 0.5-liter cans.
step 7 out of 7
Then we seal the jars hermetically and cool them upside down and under a warm blanket. It is advisable to store such a workpiece in a cool place.
