Pear jam with condensed milk for the winter

Pear contains a lot of natural sugar and the addition of condensed milk to pear jam does not make the delicacy lusciously sweet, but gives the unusual taste of creamy toffee. For this jam, very little sugar is added. If your pear is not very juicy, then condensed milk can be diluted with water.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 4
Wash the pears well. Then peel them, remove the seed pods and cut the pear into small pieces. Transfer the chopped pear to a jam pot and add water to it. Water will not allow trace elements to evaporate and the jam will not burn. Place the dishes with the chopped pear on the stove, bring to a boil and then simmer over low heat for 40 minutes until the pear becomes soft.
step 2 out of 4
Grind the boiled pear in mashed potatoes using an immersion blender or simply grind on a sieve.
step 3 out of 4
Pour sugar into the resulting pear puree and pour the calculated amount of condensed milk. Mix everything and cook over low heat for another 10 minutes.
step 4 out of 4
Pour the prepared pear jam with condensed milk into pre-sterilized jars and roll up. Turn the jars onto the lids, cool under a terry towel and store in a cool place.
