Pear puree with honey for the winter

To prepare fruit puree for the winter, housewives use a large number of different recipes. Fruit puree in any case turns out to be very tasty and healthy. I want to propose a recipe for an incredibly fragrant and delicious pear puree with honey for the winter.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 4
Select the required amount of juicy ripe pears. Wash them well in cool water with a fruit brush. Dry the prepared pears with a dry kitchen towel, then peel them with a vegetable peeler, remove the seeds and core and chop randomly. Place in a heavy-bottomed saucepan and pour in drinking water.
step 2 out of 4
Put a saucepan with pears on moderate heat and bring to a boil, reduce heat and cook fruit for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and cool, then blend with an immersion blender until smooth. Add the required amount of honey and citric acid. Place again on moderate heat, bring to a boil and simmer pear puree with honey for about 3-5 minutes.
step 3 out of 4
Wash the jars well in warm water with baking soda, and then sterilize in a way convenient for you - in the oven, in the microwave or in a water bath. Pour boiling water over the lids or boil in a saucepan.
step 4 out of 4
Put the hot pear and honey puree in sterile jars and screw with sterile lids. Then gently turn the hot mashed potatoes upside down and wrap something warm. Leave in this position until completely cooled for a day. Transfer the completely cooled jars of pear puree to a cool dark place for storage - in the cellar or closet.

Bon Appetit!
