Beef goulash with mushrooms

Beef goulash with mushrooms turns out to be very tasty and incredibly aromatic. Such a dish does not even need a side dish. The success of the dish depends on the meat, it should not be dry and sinewy, and any mushrooms that you have in your kitchen will do.

Wash the meat and cut into cubes, salt and pepper it.

Put the meat in a well-heated skillet, fry over high heat until golden brown.

Transfer the fried meat to a saucepan, cover it with water, and simmer over medium heat until the beef is tender.

Wash the mushrooms, cut into thin slices. Peel and chop the onion.

Pour a little olive oil and butter into the pan, fry the onion until soft. Then add mushrooms and thyme and fry for 5-7 minutes.

Pour water into a skillet, bring to a boil and continue cooking for 10-15 minutes.
