Chicken goulash with mushrooms

The combination of chicken with various mushrooms is considered the most successful and delicious. Such goulash turns out to be tender and aromatic, and the main secret of its deliciousness is fried onions and juicy meat. You can cook goulash both in the oven and on the stove in a saucepan or skillet.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Chicken meat, preferably thigh or drumstick, rinse well, select the bones and cut the meat into medium pieces.
step 2 out of 5
Peel the onions and chop them into thin half rings.
step 3 out of 5
Peel the mushrooms, wash well and cut into pieces of any size and shape.
step 4 out of 5
Heat vegetable oil in a saucepan or deep frying pan and fry the chopped onion in it until light golden brown. Then transfer the chopped mushrooms and meat to the onion and fry everything over medium heat for 10 minutes.
step 5 out of 5
Then salt the goulash to your liking, add pizza spices (you can use others), pour a glass of water and simmer the goulash over low heat and under a covered lid for another 30–35 minutes until the meat is fully cooked. Put the cooked chicken goulash with mushrooms in portioned plates and serve with any side dish.

Bon Appetit!
