Pork goulash with onions, carrots and tomato paste

Goulash is a Hungarian dish usually made with beef. However, if for some reason it was not in the refrigerator, then you can use pork, it turns out no less tasty and nutritious.

Wash the meat, cut into strips 1-1.5 centimeters thick and transfer it to a saucepan with a thick bottom. Pour sunflower oil into a saucepan and fry the meat over medium heat for 15-20 minutes.

Peel the onion, cut into half rings and add to the saucepan. Fry onions and meat for 10-15 minutes.

Peel the carrots, wash with water and grate on a coarse grater. Add the carrots, along with bay leaves, salt and pepper, to the meat and onions in a saucepan. Pour 350-400 ml of water into a saucepan, cover and simmer for 40-50 minutes over low heat.

In a bowl, combine sour cream, tomato paste and flour. You should have a homogeneous mass without lumps. Add this mixture to a saucepan, stir and simmer for 10 minutes.
