Goulash with pickles

Goulash with pickled cucumbers turns out to be truly homemade. Pieces of stew with slices of pickled cucumbers in tender gravy are a dish that will bring the whole family together at the dinner table and will not leave anyone hungry.

The meat for this recipe can be selected to your liking. Wash the meat and cut into small pieces. Peel the onion, cut into half rings. Wash the carrots, peel and cut into slices.

Heat sunflower oil in a cauldron and fry the meat in it for 10-15 minutes. Then add the onion and simmer with the meat for 5-7 minutes.

Cut the cucumbers into thin slices. Put the carrots and cucumbers in the cauldron, stir and continue cooking for another 5 minutes.

Then pour water into the cauldron, add salt and pepper, simmer the goulash over low heat for 1-1.5 hours. Goulash can be served as an independent dish or supplemented with any side dishes.
