For many, New Year is associated with the aroma of citrus fruits. In this recipe, you are invited to bake a goose in a sleeve, stuffed with oranges. The dish, of course, is for gourmets, because not everyone likes meat with added fruits, but its unusual aroma, taste and spectacular appearance will delight you.

First, prepare all the ingredients for this dish. Clean the carcass of the goose from the remnants of the feather, singe the skin, cut off the rump, phalanges of the wings and rinse the bird well under running water. Then pat the carcass dry with a kitchen towel.

Prepare the goose marinade. Squeeze the orange juice into a separate cup, add to it the amount of honey, paprika, soy sauce and salt indicated in the recipe. Whisk these ingredients well.

Grate the poultry carcass thoroughly with the prepared marinade on all sides. Then transfer it to a deep bowl, cover with a piece of foil and leave for 4 hours (preferably overnight) to marinate.

After the marinating time has elapsed, continue the cooking process. Rinse the oranges well, peel and cut into pieces of any size and shape.

Put the chopped oranges into the goose's belly and fasten the belly walls with toothpicks.

Then transfer the goose to a baking sheet and bake in an oven preheated to 200 ° C for 2 hours. Carefully cut the sleeve 20 minutes before the end of baking so that the carcass is covered with a crispy golden crust.
