Thick strawberry jam with whole berries

Strawberry jam with juicy whole berries is a delight! It turns out to be incredibly tasty, aromatic and thick. Of course, such beauty will take time and patience from you. But desserts and pastries with it turn out to be a real masterpiece!

We carefully sort the strawberries, discard the rotten berries and remove the petioles.

Now fill the selected strawberries with sugar and without stirring, leave them to infuse overnight. This will give the strawberries their juice and remain intact.

We send the berries to the stove and cook over low heat until the sugar is completely dissolved and turns into syrup. When the jam boils, cook it for another 5 minutes. and remove from heat until completely cooled for 12 hours.

Put it back on the stove and repeat the process 2 more times. After that, we put the jam in sterilized jars and roll up tightly. We leave the strawberry jam to cool at room temperature, and then send it to a cold place.
