I want to share another delicious Adjarian khachapuri recipe. The baked goods have a delicate texture and go well with the stretching cheese filling. The dish is perfect for family tea or Sunday breakfast.
Ingredients
Cooking process
Warm drinking water slightly. Add the required amount of salt and granulated sugar. Then add dry yeast. Mix well until the ingredients are completely dissolved. Pour in the required amount of vegetable oil. In several steps, enter the wheat flour previously sifted through a sieve. Knead an elastic dough.
In the meantime, prepare the filling. Grate the Suluguni cheese on a coarse grater. Pound the matched dough a little. Divide the dough into four to six equal parts, depending on what size khachapuri you want to get at the exit. Roll each part with a rolling pin, giving it an oblong shape. Place a small amount of grated cheese around the rolled dough.
Place the baking sheet in a preheated oven to 200 degrees. Bake the khachapuri for about 15-20 minutes. After the time has elapsed, carefully remove the baking sheet from the khachapuri, slightly press down the cheese filling with a tablespoon and make a depression in the center. Gently hammer a quail egg into each boat.
Bon Appetit!
