Khachapuri with Suluguni cheese

Khachapuri with cheese is a Georgian classic recipe for a delicious appetizer with a stretching cheese filling. Such an appetizer will be an excellent option for gatherings with friends instead of the usual and boring pizza. Be sure to try making the cheese tortilla.

Heat the required amount of milk a little, add dry yeast, granulated sugar and salt. Mix well, sift a glass of flour into the resulting mass, mix again, tighten with cling film and leave in a warm place for 15 minutes.

Break a chicken egg into the resulting dough and add the required amount of potato starch. Mix thoroughly.

Gradually add the remaining flour, stirring well. Pour in 100 ml vegetable oil and knead the dough. Place the dough in a bowl and cover with cling film. Leave in a warm place for an hour and a half.

In a small bowl, combine sour cream, a chicken egg and 20 milliliters of vegetable oil.

Grate suluguni on a coarse grater.

Beat the matched dough a little and divide into three equal parts. Roll each part with a rolling pin. Spread the grated cheese filling evenly in the center of each circle.

Then gather the free edge towards the center and blind the edges well.

Roll the resulting lump into a circle, turn it over and roll it again with a rolling pin.
