Khachapuri with cottage cheese and herbs

Spoil your loved ones with delicious and aromatic khachapuri stuffed with cottage cheese and herbs. It is easy to prepare. The dough is kneaded with kefir. Curd khachapuri can be fried in a pan or baked in the oven as you like.

Heat the kefir a little and pour it into a container for kneading the dough. Pour soda over the kefir and add salt to your liking. Then beat in a chicken egg and stir everything well until smooth.

Sift the amount of flour specified in the recipe on a sieve and add it to the liquid base. Knead the dough with your hand so that it does not stick to your palm. Roll the dough into a ball and cover with a napkin.

Grind hard cheese. Grind cottage cheese on a sieve. Rinse the dill and remove excess moisture with a napkin. Then finely chop the dill, sprinkle a little with salt and mash with a spoon so that it gives juice. Put cottage cheese, cheese and dill in a bowl, and mix these ingredients well.

Place the prepared dough on the work surface of the table, sprinkled with flour, and roll into a sausage. Then cut the dough into 8 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a thin cake. Then gently roll it out with a rolling pin, being careful not to break the integrity, to the size of your frying pan. Heat a dry skillet well and place the khachapuri on top of it. While the cake is fried, prepare the second in the same way, and then all the others. Fry the khachapuri on one side until golden brown.
