Bread with kefir in the Mulinex bread maker

Bread dough is usually kneaded in water using yeast. But you can also successfully do without them by using other liquids: milk, whey, kefir. On kefir, ready-made bread is always of medium density, rather porous and "springy". The crust turns out to be less golden when compared with yeast bread options on water, but the crumb boasts pronounced pores, which look especially beautiful on the cut of a cooled product.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Sift wheat flour into the bowl of the bread machine. Pour salt and granulated sugar on top. Pour in the specified amount of kefir, pour soda on it.
step 2 out of 5
Next, pour the Provencal herbs into the bowl. Alternatively, you can use any combination of herbs you want.
step 3 out of 5
Pour in olive oil last. It is good if it is an unrefined version of cold pressing - it gives a characteristic olive aroma and flavor that will be very appropriate in this bread.
step 4 out of 5
We put the bowl in the bread maker and select the mode of quick kneading of bread, according to the instructions - depending on the specific model of the device, the name and number of the program will differ. It is important to understand that the kneading should not be more than ten to fifteen minutes, so that carbon dioxide from the reaction of soda and kefir does not have time to leave the dough. After kneading, select the "Quick bread" baking program for a weight of 750 grams. We press "Start".
step 5 out of 5
After the sound signal, we take out the bowl with the finished bread, turn it upside down and take out the loaf. Put the bread on the wire rack and cool completely.

Bon Appetit!
