Pork shank jellied in a Redmond slow cooker

With an incredible desire I want to share an excellent recipe for an unusually tasty pork shank jellied meat cooked in a slow cooker. Cold appetizer turns out to be rich and aromatic. Meat appetizer is a great option for a family meal or a festive celebration.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 9
Wash the pork knuckle thoroughly and scrub the skin with a knife. Put the meat in a container, and cover with cold water, leave to soak for a couple of hours. Then rinse well again.
step 2 out of 9
Cut the prepared shank with a knife.
step 3 out of 9
Put the prepared meat in a multicooker bowl. Peel the onions and garlic. Put the vegetables in the multicooker bowl.
step 4 out of 9
Salt well, add bay leaf and black peppercorns.
step 5 out of 9
Fill with cold water so that it completely covers the meat. Close the lid of the multicooker. Set the Stew program on the appliance panel, cooking time - 5 hours 30 minutes.
step 6 out of 9
After about an hour, open the lid of the multicooker. Using a slotted spoon, remove the formed foam and close the lid of the device. Cook until the end of the program. After the beep, turn off the device and open the lid of the multicooker.
step 7 out of 9
Place the meat in a bowl and cool completely. Separate the cooled meat from the bones and finely chop or disassemble into fibers by hand. Put the prepared meat in the jellied meat container and distribute it evenly.
step 8 out of 9
Pour the pre-strained broth over the meat so that the broth completely covers it. Cool the jellied meat at room temperature, and then cover the container and place in the refrigerator to freeze for 8-12 hours, but preferably overnight.
step 9 out of 9
Appetizing pork shank jellied meat, cooked in a slow cooker, garnish with herbs if desired, and then serve.

Bon Appetit!
