How to quickly pickle mackerel with vinegar

For those who love fish, I recommend using a wonderful recipe for an unusually tasty salted mackerel with vinegar. The cooking process is absolutely not laborious. I cook a double portion at once, because the appetizer immediately disappears from the table.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
Pour the required amount of cold water into a saucepan. Put on moderate heat and bring to a boil. Then add table vinegar, ground paprika, granulated sugar, salt, black peppercorns and ground, cloves and bay leaves. Boil for just a couple of minutes and remove from heat. Cool completely.
step 2 out of 6
In the meantime, peel the freshly frozen mackerel of fins, tails and head, carefully remove the entrails and bones. Rinse the mackerel fillets under running water, then pat dry with paper towels and cut into small pieces of equal size.
step 3 out of 6
Peel the onions and cut into rings. Prepare a glass jar and place the chopped mackerel and onion pieces in it.
step 4 out of 6
Top with completely cooled marinade. Close the jar with a lid and place in the refrigerator for a day.
step 5 out of 6
After the time has passed, remove the mackerel from the brine and place on a plate.
step 6 out of 6
Serve the fish with onions.

Enjoy a delicious snack!
