How to cook beef pilaf in a pan at home

Delicious pilaf can be easily prepared in any kitchen. Even if you have little experience in cooking this hearty oriental dish, difficulties should not arise: in the recipe, we describe each step in detail and clearly demonstrate each stage with the corresponding photo. Pour such an amount of vegetable oil into the pan so that it covers the bottom with a layer of two centimeters. We heat the oil until hot. While the oil is heating, peel the onions, wash them, dry them and cut them into thin semicircles. Pour the prepared onion into a frying pan and fry it over medium heat until slightly golden brown. Be sure to stir the frying process to avoid burning. At the same time, we prepare the beef: we wash it, be sure to dry it and cut it into small pieces. Put the chopped meat in a frying pan next to the fried onions, stir and continue cooking until the beef completely changes color and starts to brown slightly.

Peel the carrots from the upper skin, rinse it, dry it and cut it into thin cubes. Add the carrots to the pan to the meat and onions, mix and cook for about another seven to ten minutes. The carrots should soften slightly. Add salt and black pepper, mix. Rinse the head of garlic and set it in the center of the pan. Pour in boiling water in such an amount that it completely covers the meat and vegetables. Close the pan with a lid and cook frying with a slow boil for thirty minutes

We wash the rice well until transparent. After the specified time has elapsed, open the pan, remove the garlic and put the rice in the pan. Straighten the groats and return the garlic to the same place. In addition, pour in hot water - the liquid should cover the rice by one centimeter. Salt, increase the heat to maximum and let the water boil.

The water should boil so that the rice appears well on the surface. With the help of a spatula, make out a slide of rice in a pan, as in the photo. Sprinkle the slide with cumin and cover the pan with a lid.
