How to salt lard to melt in your mouth

Salted lard is a national dish of Ukrainian cuisine. The appetizer turns out to be not only tasty, but also healthy. Today I want to share a delicious recipe for an appetizing salted lard that melts in your mouth. Be sure to prepare a tender treat and serve it at the dinner table.

First of all, clean the required amount of fresh lard with a layer with a knife. Cut into equal sized pieces. Put the lard in a container, sandpaper up.

Prepare the brine. Put coarse salt in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Stir well until the salt is completely dissolved. Put on fire and bring to a boil. Pour lard with hot brine. Cool completely at room temperature.

Cover the container with a lid and refrigerate for 4 days. After the time has passed, remove the bacon from the brine and pat dry with paper towels.

In a separate container, combine ground coriander, red and black ground pepper, mix well. And then rub generously with the resulting mixture on all sides.

Place the fragrant bacon in a plastic bag or wrap it in plastic wrap. It is important that each piece is wrapped separately. Refrigerate for another 24 hours.
