How to wrap puff pastry samsa in a triangle

There are several ways to wrap triangular patties and make samsa. Traditionally, the filling is made from minced meat, but you can always add any ingredients to your taste: cheese, mushrooms, potatoes or other vegetables.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
Beat an egg in a bowl, add 50 grams of melted butter, salt and boiling water to it. Gradually add the sifted flour and knead to a homogeneous dough. Divide the dough into three parts and leave for 30-40 minutes.
step 2 out of 6
Then sprinkle the work surface with starch and roll out the dough pieces into thin rectangular tortillas. Coat each cake with softened butter, fold them on top of each other and roll a tight roll. Place the dough in the freezer for 15-20 minutes.
step 3 out of 6
Remove the dough from the freezer, cut into washers 1-1.5 centimeters thick and roll them out. Put a piece of separately rolled dough on the cut, this is necessary so that the layers of puff pastry do not creep apart.
step 4 out of 6
Mix the minced meat with finely chopped onions and seasonings. Place the filling on the rolled dough.
step 5 out of 6
Fold the edges of the dough to the center and pin the adjacent edges together. You will have neat triangular patties.
step 6 out of 6
Cover the baking sheet with parchment. Place the pieces on a baking sheet, seams down. Top samsa with a mixture of egg and milk, sprinkle with caraway seeds. Bake the dish in the oven at 200 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve the samsa warm.
