Squid marinated on the grill

We offer to cook calamari on the grill. The zest of taste is in the marinade. Prepare a rich aromatic mixture of parsley, hot pepper, olive oil and garlic. Such squids are cooked on the grill in just a couple of minutes. It is important to remove tender carcasses on time and not overcook them.

Wash the squid thoroughly, clean the surface, remove the internal cartilage. Remove the transparent film from both sides of the pulp.

We cut the carcasses into two parts so that we get oblong portioned pieces.

We beat off the squid with a kitchen hammer on both sides. It is important that the pulp softens but remains intact.

Cooking the squid marinade. Rinse the parsley, dry it and place it in a blender bowl. Wash a pod of hot pepper, dry it and add to the parsley. Peel the garlic and send it after the pepper to the bowl. Pour in olive oil and soy sauce. Pour in paprika and black ground pepper, as well as salt to taste. Grind everything together until smooth.

We put the prepared squid in a container and fill it with the prepared marinade. We mix everything with our hands, trying to evenly distribute the mass over all the pieces of squid. Leave for fifteen minutes to marinate.

We prepare a grill with embers. We do not allow open flames. We send pieces of squid to the grill.
