Fast food pickled cabbage with beets

Cabbage is mixed with carrots and beets, after which it is poured with a marinade of water, salt, sugar, sunflower oil and bay leaf. Everything is pickled for a day, laid out in jars and sent to storage in the refrigerator. It turns out to be a very unusual and tasty snack.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
First, thoroughly rinse all vegetables under running water and dry them on a paper towel. Remove the top leaves from the cabbage, cut out the stump, and then cut it into squares.
step 2 out of 6
Peel the carrots with beets and garlic, rub on a coarse grater and mix everything slightly.
step 3 out of 6
Now we are preparing the marinade. Pour cold drinking water into a separate saucepan, add granulated sugar, salt, bay leaf and sunflower oil to it. We put on fire, bring to a boil and cook for a couple of minutes so that all the ingredients come together. At this time, we take a large container and lay cabbage in it in layers, alternating it with a mixture of beets, carrots and garlic.
step 4 out of 6
Pour vegetables with hot marinade. We cover them with a plate and place a jar of water on top.
step 5 out of 6
We let the cabbage marinate in this way for a day, after which we lay it out in clean cans, close them with nylon lids and send them for storage in the refrigerator.
step 6 out of 6
We shift the Georgian cabbage into a plate and serve as an appetizer for the main course. Sprinkle with finely chopped green onions if desired. Bon Appetit!
