Spicy and hot marinade in tandem with vegetable oil quickly turns common cabbage into a gourmet meal that meets three main criteria for good food: hearty, healthy and tasty. Cabbage "Provencal" will be a good alternative to fresh vegetable salad. We cut the cabbage for this salad into pieces, which is faster and more convenient, because we often do not have the patience to chop it into strips. With such cutting, it is advisable to infuse the salad in the marinade for up to a day, although you can eat it after 5-6 hours.

Transfer the cabbage slices to any dish for preparing this salad. Peel the carrots with a vegetable peeler, rinse and chop into pieces of any shape and size. Peel the head of garlic and chop it with a knife or cut into thin slices. Then put the chopped carrots and garlic in a bowl with the cabbage. Mix vegetables with your hands, but do not grind.
Cook the cabbage marinade in a separate saucepan. Pour 0.5 liters of pure water into it, add the calculated amount of sugar and salt and stir until they are completely dissolved. Boil the marinade over medium heat, add vegetable oil to it and cook for a couple of minutes. Then add table vinegar to the marinade, stir and turn off the heat.
