Provencal cabbage with instant garlic

Shredded cabbage is mixed with garlic, carrots and bell peppers. Then everything is poured with marinade from water, vinegar, vegetable oil, salt, sugar and marinated for 1 day at room temperature. The result is a very tasty and aromatic snack.

We wash all vegetables well under running water and dry them on a paper towel. Remove the top leaves from the cabbage, cut out the stump and chop thinly.

Peel and grate the carrots.

We take a deep container, send chopped cabbage, carrots and garlic there, which we pass through a press or finely chop. We crumple the vegetables with our hands so that the carrots let out the juice.

Cut the bell pepper in half, remove the seeds and cut into thin strips. We send it to a container for cabbage with carrots and mix everything well.

Let's start preparing the marinade. Pour drinking water into a suitable saucepan, put on fire and bring to a boil. Add salt, granulated sugar, sunflower oil and vinegar to it. Bring it to a boil again, remove it from the stove and let it cool slightly.
