If you're looking for delicious savory pastries, cabbage pie is a great option. Moreover, the process of its preparation is quite simple. The dough is kneaded in two counts, and the most laborious is, perhaps, chopping the cabbage. To avoid any difficulties when removing the finished cake from the mold, we recommend covering the bottom of the dish with oiled parchment.

Cooking batter. To do this, in a bowl, mix eggs, mayonnaise, sour cream, salt and granulated sugar to taste. We work with a whisk or mixer until a homogeneous mass is obtained.

Then add baking powder, fragrant dry herbs and sifted flour. Mix well again - you get a homogeneous dough, thin, in consistency resembling a dough for pancakes.

Chop the cabbage with a knife, grater or combine. It is important that the pieces are small. Additionally, the chopped mass can be squeezed by hand to soften even more.

Grease the baking dish with a small amount of vegetable oil or cover with oiled parchment. Pour chopped cabbage into it, level it.

Fill the cabbage in the form with the prepared dough. We try to distribute the mass evenly over the entire area of ​​the mold. To spill the dough between the cabbage, lightly tap the bottom of the mold on the table. Rub the hard cheese on a coarse grater and sprinkle the surface of the pie with it.

Preheat the oven to a temperature of 180 degrees. We put the pie on the middle level and bake for thirty-five to forty minutes. The pie will grow slightly towards the end of baking and will be covered with a pronounced golden crust. We take it out of the oven, let it cool slightly and carefully remove it from the mold. Cut into portions and serve warm or cold.
