Hearty fish with a golden brown crust and aromatic filling is an excellent picnic dish in a large company. It is also important that it does not take much time to prepare and cook crucian carp. Perhaps the hardest part of the process is removing the scales. Otherwise, everything is quick and easy!

We clean the carp of scales, cut the abdomen and remove the insides. Cut off the gills, tails and fins. The resulting carcasses are thoroughly washed and dried with paper towels, removing excess moisture.

Prepare the marinade in a separate container. Mix together lemon juice, teriyaki sauce, olive oil, dried marjoram, salt to taste, and a mixture of ground peppers.

Carcasses of crucians are shallowly cut on both sides. This is done both in order for the marinade to penetrate more actively into the pulp, and so that the small bones of the crucian carp soften during subsequent baking. Fill the fish with the prepared marinade and distribute it with your hands over the inner cavity and surface of the carcasses. Leave to marinate for twenty to thirty minutes.

Peel, wash and dry onions. Cut into thin rings. Cut the lemon into thin circles.

In the pickled carcasses of crucian carcasses, we lay on a sprig of basil, bay leaves, mint leaves, a mug of lemon and several rings of onions. Sprinkle with thyme, salt and ground pepper on top.

We prepare a grill with embers. We place the fish in foil on the wire rack and send it to the grill. Cook for about seven to ten minutes, remembering to turn the fish over for even heat treatment. Then we make punctures in the foil in several places so that the smoke from the grill will flavor the crucian carp. We cook for another five minutes.
