Mashed potato casserole

Potato casserole is good to cook if you have yesterday's mashed potatoes in the fridge, but you want something new. However, you can also make mashed potatoes for it on purpose. In such a casserole, you can add everything that is at hand: ham, sausages, mushrooms, cheese or minced meat, as well as raw or fried vegetables.

Boil peeled or jacket potatoes in salted water.

Drain the water. If the potatoes are in their skins, then peel them, add butter and finely chopped parsley or dill.

Mash the mashed potatoes and let cool slightly.

Add a raw egg to the puree, mix well.
