Potato casserole with cabbage is a great option for lunch or dinner. Baked potatoes, minced meat and cabbage, all covered with a fragrant cheese crust and lightly sprinkled with herbs, what could be better!

We wash the potatoes well, remove the sand with a sponge. Put the potatoes in a saucepan, fill with water and boil in their uniform until tender.

While the potatoes are boiling, we will do the minced meat. Peel the onion, chop into cubes and sauté in vegetable oil in a frying pan for 2-3 minutes. We put the minced meat there. Add salt and pepper, close the lid and simmer for 15-20 minutes.

We wash the cabbage and chop it into small pieces. Peel the carrots, wash and rub on a coarse grater. Add to the cabbage and put everything in a pan with vegetable oil. Fry the cabbage over medium heat for 8-10 minutes.

Remove the finished potatoes from the pan, let them cool and peel them. We cut it into circles, 5-7 mm thick. We spread half of the potatoes in the first layer in a form greased with vegetable oil. Mix the sour cream with salt and pepper and coat the potatoes a little on top. With the next layer, lay out the minced meat, distribute it over the width of the entire form and grease it again with a thin layer of sour cream. Next, we send the cabbage into the form, level it and coat with the remaining sour cream. The next layer is potatoes. Rub the cheese on a coarse grater and sprinkle on our casserole. We put it to bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. There is no need to bake a casserole for a long time, because all the ingredients were prepared in advance.
