We offer a simple and not time-consuming recipe for baked potatoes with garlic and mayonnaise in the oven. A delicate soft core and a delicious golden crust on the surface - such a side dish will decorate any dish!

Remove the peel from the potatoes, then thoroughly rinse the tubers from dirt and dry them with a paper towel. It is desirable that all potatoes are of the same size - the slices will be the same in thickness and baked evenly.

We cut each potato lengthwise into two halves. And we, in turn, cut them into two more parts. From one root crop we get four slices.

Place the chopped potatoes in a wide bowl. Peel the garlic, pass the cloves through a press. We spread the resulting gruel to the potatoes. We also add mayonnaise and salt to taste. Mix everything together with our hands and try to evenly distribute the sauce, garlic and salt over each potato wedge.

Cover the baking sheet with a silicone mat or lightly oiled parchment. Alternatively, put a sheet of foil. Lubricate the surface with vegetable oil. Lay out the prepared potato wedges on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with dried dill for flavor.
