Grilled potatoes on a wire rack

Grilled potatoes with the smell of a fire and a golden brown crust are the best side dish that can be prepared for a barbecue. Young potatoes with a thin skin are especially good for this.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Peel the garlic and chop finely. Mix sunflower oil with minced garlic.
step 2 out of 5
Wash the potatoes under running water and dry. Cut the potatoes into slices 1.5-2 centimeters thick. This thickness will allow the potatoes to bake well and not burn.
step 3 out of 5
Put the potatoes in a bowl, sprinkle them with salt and pepper, cover with oil and garlic, stir.
step 4 out of 5
Chop the herbs finely and add to the potatoes. Stir the potatoes and leave for 20-30 minutes, stir occasionally.
step 5 out of 5
Place the potatoes on the wire rack. Place a wire rack over the burnt coals and bake the potatoes for 7-10 minutes on each side. Put the finished potatoes in a bowl, add a small piece of butter if desired.

Bon Appetit!
