Grilled potatoes on skewers are an excellent snack option during outdoor recreation. In order to make the dish as tasty as possible, we recommend using either young potatoes or old ones, which contain the minimum amount of starch. Thanks to the low starch content, the potatoes will stick securely on the skewers, and this will ensure even baking.

First you need to thoroughly wash the potatoes with a sponge, put them on a paper towel in order to remove excess liquid from the surface of the potatoes. You do not need to peel potatoes. The next step is to cut the potatoes into a circle, the thickness of which is about 5 centimeters. If you are using lard (or bacon), then it is also sliced, but in thinner slices of 1 to 2 centimeters. We string potato pieces on skewers, alternating with pieces of bacon or bacon. Wrap the contents of each skewer in foil. This is done to make the potatoes more tender and flavorful.

We send the skewers to the fire for 25 minutes.
