Dessert with strawberries - what could be tastier! We bring to your attention a simple and quick recipe for cupcakes, which, by the way, will be necessary at the height of the strawberry season. The cupcakes are so tender, juicy and flavorful that they just melt in your mouth!

Mix dry ingredients: sift flour, add baking powder, salt, vanillin and sugar.

In a separate container, mix eggs, milk and butter melted in a water bath. Mix with a whisk or spoon.

Then, in several stages, we introduce the dry mixture, mix gently.

We grate the lemon zest, carefully remove only the yellow part. Add the zest to the dough and mix.

We wash the strawberries under cold water, dry a little. We cut it into halves or into quarters, it all depends on the size of the strawberries.

Grease the cake pan with butter. You can use paper muffin cups, then you don't need to grease the pan. We fill the molds with dough 2/3.

Put pieces of strawberry on top of the dough, pressing slightly so that it does not burn. We put the cupcakes in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes, check the readiness with a skewer or a toothpick.

We take the finished muffins out of the oven and let them cool; to cool completely, you can transfer the slightly cooled muffins to the wire rack. Garnish with strawberries and sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
