Tomatoes and bell peppers are the best combination for homemade ketchup! It turns out to be very aromatic, with a spicy, rich taste and amazing color. You can safely add it to any dish. With such ketchup it will only become more appetizing!

All vegetables and fruits are washed and cleaned from petioles and stalks. Cut the tomatoes into several slices. In the same way, we cut the apples, while removing the core with seeds.

Pepper the seeds and cut into small pieces. Put apples, peppers and tomatoes in a saucepan, stir and put on the fire, cook for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Then grind the products into a homogeneous mass using a blender. We wipe it through a strainer or colander to get rid of large particles.

Put the mass on the stove again, pour spices, chopped garlic, sugar and salt into the pan. Cook for another half hour. In 5 min. until tender, pour in the vinegar.

We put the ketchup in sterilized jars and roll up with iron lids.
