Classic hodgepodge with lemon

Citrus acidity plays an important role in the famous rich hodgepodge. Lemon perfectly complements her taste. Try this hearty classic-style hodgepodge for your lunch.

Let's start by making the broth. Boil a piece of veal with onions and carrots. Salt water, add peppercorns and bay leaves.

Chop one onion for dressing. Fry it in vegetable oil until transparent. Then add tomato paste, a little broth and continue to simmer for about 7 minutes.

When the veal is cooked, cool it and chop finely. We do the same with sausages and ham.

Peel pickled cucumbers and grind them for hodgepodge. If you want to add some olives, then they should also be finely chopped.
