Classic Greek salad with feta cheese and olives

A tasty and healthy vegetable salad, which we used to call "Greek", refreshes in summer and fills with vitamins in winter. This exquisite salad is prepared literally in a matter of minutes, by mixing all the ingredients in one salad bowl.

Peel the onion and cut into thin half rings. Transfer the onion to a bowl, cover with wine vinegar and let sit for 10-15 minutes.

Wash the tomatoes, pat dry with paper towels and chop coarsely. Sprinkle the tomatoes with sugar and let sit for 10 minutes.

Remove the pits from the kalamata olives. Cut the cheese into cubes.

Also cut the cucumbers into large cubes.

Place chopped vegetables, olives and capers on a flat plate, sprinkle with dry spices and olive oil.
